I made a suit at Star Tailor. Dev made me a great suit with his competent knowhow. The whole staff is very friendly, I can realy recommend this Tailor in Patong.

Amazing work and amazing guy. The business has been in Dev’s (owner) family for generations. He grew up in the shop and has been designing suits and doing alterations since he was a baby.

We started with just a couple shirts, a custom dress (based off a photo we brought in) and linen pants, but when we went back for a fitting, the clothes looked so good that we ordered a full suit, more shirts and another pair of pants.

Dev really knows what he’s doing and his customer service is unmatched. Even if you don’t need anything (shirt, suit, dress, ect.) it’s worth getting a bespoke, quality piece for your closet. The difference between custom and off the rack is astounding, and the price you will pay by going to Dev/Star Tailor House is MUCH less than you would pay for in the US.

Tip – get a least one pair of pants and one shirt. Once Dev has your measurements, he can make new items for you and ship them to wherever you live around the world.

We can’t wait to go back and order many many more items from Dev to the US.

I had a great experience here. The owner, Dave, was very professional and friendly. He didn’t try to upsell me, and gave me an objective view of my options given how often I would be using the new suit. Great selection of materials and linings. The tailoring was spot on as well, and was comfortable and slim. He even threw in some free pocket squares, and a mask with matching color, material, and lining. Would recommend to anyone in need of a tailored suit. His dog is also very friendly.

As an airforce officer I’m used to work with the best gear and best people defending our kingdom – this is why I immediately recognized Dev with his team as the place to go in phuket. I’d say that you’re not just buying something to wear here – you’re buying an experience. Can’t tell anything negative about this store, they keep your records for years enabling new suits to be ordered by whatsapp and sent to your country.

We love Star Tailor House. We initially met with this talented tailor while vacationing in Phuket. We had an amazing experience from the very beginning. We had a few pieces made while there in 2016 and have kept in touch with Dev every since. Very professional, quick turnaround, great quality and custom fit. While Dev toured the states recently we met him in DC and had a coat designed for our son. Once again we had an exceptional experience. We look forward to ordering more pieces.
